Youth and children's ministries are central to our work as a church, not only because these people represent the future of the church, but because they are the church today.
| Church School
Church school is offered at 9:30a.m., between our two worship services. Beginning at age 4 and continuing through high school, classes (arranged by groups) offer training in the Bible, making good life choices, and what it means to believe in Jesus. |
| Bible Quest, a study of the Old Testament
Imagine children hearing the sound of the walls of Jericho tumbling down, and youth completing the sentence, "What this bible story means in my own life is..." These things are what make Bible Quest a cutting-edge experience in its approach to the Bible as a story. It is truly a journey through the Bible, a quest that engages all ages in a variety of ways to create connection to, enrichment of, and celebration of the faith stories we find in the Bible. The story is dramatized through storytelling, art and other avenues. Students are provided the opportunity to connect with and celebrate the Bible stories. Each grade level (K-8) will focus on the same three or four Bible stores, designed to form a solid biblical foundation. |
| Our senior high class uses another curriculum, focusing on biblical foundations and life choices. |
| Youth Groups
Middle and Senior High Youth groups meet on Sundays (and other times) in order to grow in faith in Jesus Christ, experience Christian fellowship and have fun. For more information, contact Pastor Ellison at the church. |
| Nursery
Nursery is provided on Sunday mornings from 8:15a.m. to 12:15p.m., offering a warm, caring place for infants through age 4 to rest and play with other children. |
